Money for the cold weather: hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians will receive 6,500 hryvnias each – who exactly will they give it to?

Ukraine is resuming payments under the “Warm Winter” program. Socially vulnerable categories of the population can receive a one-time payment of 6,500 hryvnias from the state.

This is stated in the draft government resolution, which is now being discussed.

For these purposes, the government plans to allocate 4.3 billion hryvnias from the state budget.

About 660,000 Ukrainians will receive financial support. In particular, assistance will be paid to:
– people with disabilities of group I from among internally displaced persons — 12,800;

– single pensioners who receive a care allowance – 17,500 people;

– for children under guardianship or care — 40,900;

– for orphans and children deprived of parental care with disabilities who are in family-type orphanages and foster families – 1,000;

– for children from among internally displaced persons — 252,898 people;

– for children from low-income families — 335,863 people.

The money will be credited to a special account or to a virtual card “Diya.Kartka”.

You can use the assistance within 180 days from the date of enrollment.

As “FACTY” reported, some Ukrainians will be paid 1,500 hryvnia in child benefits.
