All Ukrainians who have inquisitive and interested children should know that starting this year, in accordance with the decree of the head of state, Children's Day is celebrated on November 20.

Its date is synchronized with Universal Children's Day, according to a message on the president's website.
To date, local authorities in a number of Ukrainian regions have adopted decisions to provide additional one-time payments to children with disabilities. This was reported, in particular, by the press service of the Kamysheva settlement council of Zaporizhia district.
This is about annual additional assistance to the most vulnerable categories of children within the framework of the Targeted Program to Support the Population of the Zaporizhia Region for 2025−2029, approved by the head of the regional state administration.

The program covers persons registered at their place of residence in the region, including internally displaced persons. Its implementation is due to the fact that Zaporizhia region remains a frontline region, where residents regularly face the consequences of Russian aggression and need increased social protection.
According to the provisions of the program, children with disabilities will receive financial assistance timed to Children's Day on November 20. In 2025, the amount of such payment will be UAH 1.5 thousand.
To receive funds, parents or legal representatives must personally submit an application to the local social protection department at their place of residence. In addition, a package of documents (with originals) must be prepared – a copy of the passport or other document certifying the identity of one of the parents or the child's representative, a copy of the child's birth certificate or passport, a copy of the conclusion of the medical and social commission on recognizing the child as a person with a disability, as well as a copy of the child's or parent's identification code.

The package of documents should include bank details (for receiving social benefits) and, if available, a certificate of registration of an internally displaced person.
Recall that in Ukraine, financial payments for some families have been increased, and they will receive additional money.
