An unusual situation has developed in Ukraine: some servicemen are participating in combat operations, but have not yet acquired the status of a combat participant (CPP) – due to lack of time, the ability to process documents, unwillingness to “deal with paperwork,” etc.

Ivano-Frankivsk decided to help such servicemen and introduced a program to support them, according to the official portal of the local ASN.
In particular, such servicemen will be able to receive a one-time financial assistance of 5,000 hryvnias to pay for housing and communal services.
The specified amount can be received by:

- military personnel registered in the territory of the Ivano-Frankivsk city community;
- internally displaced military personnel registered in the settlements of the same community according to the Unified Information Database of IDPs.
The main condition is that the applicant must not have the status of a UBD and not use benefits for paying utility bills.
How to apply
To receive payment, the serviceman or his authorized representative must submit a written application to the mayor.

Assistance is provided once a year
The following documents must be attached to the application:
- copy of passport;
- copy of identification code;
- extract from the register of the territorial community regarding the place of residence;
- certificate of direct participation in hostilities or ensuring the defense of Ukraine;
- IDP certificate (if the person is internally displaced);
- bank account details for transferring funds.
“The payment should be a support to cover the costs of utility services, because many military personnel currently do not enjoy any benefits, even though they are performing combat missions,” the institution said in a statement.
Recall that in Ukraine, parliamentarians want to raise the minimum salary of military personnel from the current 20 thousand hryvnias to 30 or 50 thousand.
