If gas tariffs for the population and budget institutions remain unchanged at least until the end of the heating season – March 31, 2026, the price for the delivery of “blue” fuel may change.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
According to fbc.biz.ua, the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Utilities (NCRECU) is preparing a decision according to which users will pay not a fixed amount based on the annual volume of consumption, but taking into account the amount of gas consumed in the previous month. The innovations should come into effect from January 1, 2026.
According to this model, households that consume little gas will pay less for delivery. Payment amounts could increase significantly for those who heat their homes with gas.
The calculation will be carried out according to the formula: volume of gas consumed x tariff of the gas distribution network operator (GDN).
