WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – The United States believes it will be vital for President Joe Biden and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to sit down and discuss the full range of issues in the bilateral relationship in the coming months, a senior US administration official told reporters on Thursday.
Washington wants to be clear it has no desire to be in an “escalation cycle” with Russia after the US administration slapped new sanctions against Moscow and expelled 10 diplomats from the diplomatic mission in Washington earlier on Thursday.
