Video: Israeli Forces Strike Gaza Strip After Iron Dome Intercepts Rocket

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israeli Air Force (IAF) have conducted several strikes on targets in eastern and central areas of the Gaza Strip.

“IDF fighter jets and aircraft recently attacked Hamas terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip,” The IDF tweeted at 2:23 a.m. local time on Friday. “During the attack, a site for the production of weapons and underground infrastructure of the terrorist organization Hamas was attacked.”

Early reports from the area have detailed that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the IDF conducted an airstrike east of central Gaza early Friday morning.

A strike was also conducted on Nuseirat Camp, located in central Gaza’s Deir al Balah. Injuries have been reported in relation to the Nuseirat airstrike.

Alleged footage from the scene near Khan Younis has been uploaded to social media.

Additional IDF airstrikes were reported in Khan Younis and an area west of Deir al Balah.

The IAF jet launched at least two missiles on Hamas’ Arin site in Nuseirat. Three strikes were conducted by Israeli forces in the southern Gazan town of Al-Fukhari.

A single strike was carried out east of Al-Qarara.

No injuries were reported from the incident, as one rocket was intercepted by the Iron Dome and the other reportedly landed in an open field.

“The IDF takes all terrorist activity against Israeli territory very seriously and is prepared and ready to act as much as necessary against attempts to harm Israeli citizens and their sovereignty,” the IDF wrote Friday morning. “The terrorist organization Hamas bears responsibility for what is happening in and out of the Gaza Strip, and will bear the consequences of terrorist acts against Israeli citizens.”
