The police Department of Oregon Portland, issued a statement Sunday calling on the public to prevent the decision after a video showing officers killing a car-theft suspect at a homeless shelter, shared in social networks.

Videos uploaded Morgan Pickering on the Sunday shows residents in a shelter for the homeless scrambling for safety, as several heavily armed officers to move to a house, corner the suspect and firing bullets at him.

After the footage of Pickering sidestepped in social media, Portland police chief Daniel offender said in a statement that it was aware of the record and called for the patience of the public while the incident is investigated.

Later, Pickering told the Oregonian has that he felt the shooting was justified because the man was weird.

“We are all afraid for their lives”, – he said on the way out, before noting that the incident was “awful.”

The shooting took place minutes after the start of alcoholics anonymous meetings. Neither the identity of the officers involved in the shooting nor the suspect’s name until released. These officers will remain on paid administrative leave until the investigation is completed.
