The government has increased gas tariffs: who will be affected by the price increase?

According to the government's decision, gas tariffs for the population and budget institutions will remain unchanged at least until the end of the heating season – March 31, 2026: UAH 7.96 per cubic meter (including VAT) and UAH 16,390 per thousand cubic meters, respectively.

At the same time, as Censor.net writes, prices for “blue” fuel are being raised for individual electricity producers.

Thus, for thermal power plants in the heating cycle – from 18,000 UAH to 21,000 UAH per 1,000 cubic meters including VAT. For thermal power plants and CHP in the condensation cycle – from 14,000 UAH to 16,000 UAH.

For gas turbine and gas piston plants that produce exclusively electricity, from UAH 14,000 to UAH 16,000; for plants that operate on combined electricity and heat generation, from UAH 18,000 to UAH 21,000.

We will remind you that the Ministry of Energy denied information about postponing the start of the heating season in Ukraine to November 1. Heat will begin to be supplied to apartments based on temperature indicators – the average temperature must be below +8 degrees for three days.
