San Francisco Sues Sessions for Revoking Protections for Minorities, Disabled

Washington (Sputnik) – the us city of San Francisco filed a Federal lawsuit against attorney General Jeff sessions, the decision that took away civil rights for minorities, the disabled and other groups, city attorney Dennis Herrera’s office said in a press release on Thursday.

“City attorney Dennis Herrera announced today that it filed a Federal lawsuit against us attorney General Jefferson sessions, solutions sessions to protect the civil rights of young people, immigrants, the poor, people with different skin color and people with disabilities,” the release said.

The lawsuit deals with 25 the Ministry of justice guidance documents that sessions cancelled in December 2017.

Was cancelled six documents about civil rights, but no one explained why they were cancelled, as required by law, reports.

“The administration trump is trying to gut the poor, people of color and people with disabilities under the guise of regulatory reform,” Herrera is quoted in the press release.

Office Herrera appealed to the court to compel the Ministry of justice has restored six of the guidance documents, reports.
