Massive Fire Erupts at Stem Cells Preservation Firm Northeast of Mumbai in Western India – Video

Five fire brigades have been rushed to the scene. No casualties have been reported as yet and the exact cause of the fire is unknown.

A massive fire broke out at Biocell company in India’s Thane city on Friday evening in the state of Maharashtra. Biocell company is involved in cryo-preservation of stem cells collected from amniotic fluid.

There are no details available at the moment on the cause of the fire or the possible casualties in the incident.

​The fire comes after five people died in a blaze at the Serum Institute in Pune, Maharashtra. The facility is located just a kilometre from the Covishield vaccine manufacturing unit.
