Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Alice Cooper are part of the music community that has paid tribute to the 'Prince of Darkness' Ozzy Osbourne during their live performances.
The Black Sabbath frontman's death was confirmed in a PA news report, which said he was “surrounded by his family and love”.
His Black Sabbath bandmates Terence “Geezer” Butler, Tony Iommi and Bill Ward also paid tribute to Osbourne, along with fans from his hometown of Birmingham and famous friends including Kiss star Gene Simmons and Queen guitarist Sir Brian May.
Ozzy has died aged 76 just weeks after performing a farewell concert at Villa Park in Birmingham – not far from where the band formed in 1968.
The Back to the Beginning concert featured performances by Anthrax, Metallica and Guns N' Roses, with the closing set being performed by his Black Sabbath bandmates.

American pop icon Lady Gaga performed on stage wearing an Ozzy Osbourne T-shirt as she closed her first show at San Francisco's Mayhem Ball on Tuesday.
“We're going to miss you, Ozzy,” she said as Osbourne's “Crazy Train” played in the background.
“Crazy Train” was released in 1980 as Osbourne's first solo single and was included on his debut solo album Blizzard Of Ozz.
The 39-year-old Bad Romance singer is currently touring the US and Canada with her latest album, Mayhem.
