Kelly Osbourne thanks fans for 'support' after Ozzy's father's death

Kelly Osbourne has expressed her gratitude to fans for their “support” during the “hardest time” of her life following the death of her father, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne.

In 2019, the rock legend was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and passed away on July 22 at the age of 76 surrounded by his family.

Following his passing, fans and friends from all over the world began sending their tributes, with thousands of people visiting the Black Sabbath bench in the musician's hometown of Birmingham to leave flowers, wreaths, posters, balloons, candles and cards.

Last week, the Osborne family visited the bench on Broad Street to lay flowers during the motorcade procession.

Kelly, 40, who is best known for her role on the 2000s reality show The Osbournes, took to her Instagram story on Monday to thank fans for their support.

She noted: “I've tried to write this many times and I still don't know if the words are enough… but I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

“Your love, support and the wonderful messages I have received from so many of you have truly helped me through the most difficult time of my life. Every kind word, every memory, every show of compassion has meant more to me than I can ever say.

“Grief is a strange feeling. It comes in waves. At some point it will be difficult for me. But knowing that my family is not alone in their grief makes a huge difference.
