Moscow (Sputnik) – five people were killed and seven others were in the blast in the Afghan province of Herat on Monday were injured, according to broadcaster 1ТВ.
Several explosive devices were attached to the motorcycle, anchor 1ТВ reported, citing police.
None of the armed groups in the region, has not claimed responsibility for the attack.
In June last year in the explosion in Herat city killed seven people and injured several others.
Afghanistan has long suffered from political, social and security-related instability due to boiling of the insurgency, including the Taliban and Daish*. The U.S. and the Kabul government was at war with the Taliban since 2001. Prior to that the country faced almost two decades of civil war, the remaining divided into several warlord-controlled regions throughout the greater part of the 1990-ies.
