The digitization of work books in Ukraine should be completed by June 10, 2026. This can be done by both employers and citizens themselves, including those who are currently abroad.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine explains that the insurance period is calculated based on the data of the personalized accounting system introduced in 2004, and for previous periods – based on data included on the basis of documents in the register of insured persons of the State Register of Compulsory State Social Insurance, in particular, based on digitized documents containing data on periods of employment.
Those who are abroad need to scan all pages with entries in the work book. The photos must be in color, have a clear image and be saved in JPG or PDF formats (each file size must not exceed 1 MB).
Next, you need to take the following steps:

Log in to the Pension Fund of Ukraine web portal using a qualified electronic signature (QES) or “Action.Signature” and click the “Login” button.

In the “Communications with PFU” section, select the “Information on labor relations” tab.

Fill in general information about the person and consent to the transfer and processing of personal data.

Attach scanned copies of all completed pages of the work book in chronological order and click the “Sign and send to PFU” button.
