Ukrainians buy more used cars from the USA / Ukravtoprom
Throughout the initial nine months of 2025, Ukrainian citizens procured in excess of 37,100 pre-owned vehicles shipped from the United States. This signifies an increase of 11% compared to the equivalent timeframe in the preceding year.

The most substantial proportion among these vehicles, accounting for 43%, consists of electric automobiles, underscoring the sustained robust inclination of Ukrainians towards “eco-friendly” transportation.
Following in popularity are gasoline-powered vehicles (41%), hybrid models (8%), diesel-fueled cars (5%), and vehicles utilizing LPG (3%).
The typical age of “American” automobiles with prior usage that augmented the Ukrainian vehicle inventory in 2025 stands at 5.6 years.
Leading 5 favored secondhand cars originating from the USA within Ukraine:
- Tesla Model Y – 5301 items.
- Tesla Model 3 – 4,520 items.
- Ford Escape – 2660 items.
- Nissan Rogue – 1892 items.
- Jeep Cherokee – 1879 items.
It is worth mentioning that during the month of August, Ukrainians obtained nearly 5.1 thousand previously owned cars brought in from the USA. This denotes a 6% rise relative to July 2025.
During the first semester of 2025, Ukrainian individuals imported 22,000 used vehicles from the US, reflecting a 4% climb from the corresponding period of the prior year.
