Toyota and Renault share leadership among private and corporate buyers / Depositphotos
During the period from January to September of 2025, Ukraine’s vehicle pool experienced an increase of almost 53,000 brand new passenger vehicles.
This information is provided by Delo.ua, referencing data from Ukravtoprom.
From this quantity, 69% of the vehicles were procured by individual customers, while 31% were acquired by juridical persons.
In comparison to the equivalent timeframe in 2024, sales within the individual sector displayed a rise of 5%, whereas in the corporate sector, conversely, they showed a decline of 10%.
Leading 5 most sought-after new vehicles amongst individual buyers:
- Toyota RAV4 — 1,988 items.
- BYD Song Plus — 1,950 items.
- Volkswagen ID.Unyx — 1,538 items.
- Hyundai Tucson — 1,451 items.
- Renault Duster — 1,264 items.
Individual clients are showing an increasing inclination towards hybrid and electric versions, notably because of the expanding array of charging points and financial incentives for electric vehicles.

- Renault Duster — 2,599 items.
- Skoda Octavia — 729 items.
- Toyota Prado — 551 items.
- Skoda Kodiaq — 533 items.

It is worth mentioning that in September of 2025, the Ukrainian marketplace for new passenger cars attained a high point for the prior year. In excess of 6.8 thousand brand new vehicles were bought throughout the month.
