Bayern Munich stripped of Bundesliga title after RB Leipzig's late goal

Harry Kane had to wait patiently for his first career trophy after scoring a thrilling goal in the closing minutes of RB Leipzig's 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga leaders were just seconds away from taking an insurmountable 11-point lead over reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen when Yussuf Poulsen scored in the fifth minute of added time.

With suspended top scorer Kane watching from the stands, Bayern were able to come back from a two-goal half-time deficit thanks to Eric Dier, Michael Olisa and Leroy Sane.

However, Champions League contenders Leipzig, who looked set to spoil the party after first-half goals from Benjamin Cesko and Lukas Klostermann, had the last word thanks to a sharp strike from substitute Poulsen.

Kane headed towards the pitch, intending to join the celebrations, but was left disappointed by the goal that equalised in the dying seconds.

Bayern will be crowned champions on Sunday if Xabi Alonso's second-placed Leverkusen side fail to beat Freiburg.

Borussia Dortmund strengthened their Champions League chances with a 4-0 thrashing of Wolfsburg, with Serou Guirassy and Karim Adeyemi both scoring twice.

Hoffenheim cannot yet be sure of their safety after Tim Kleindienst scored in injury time for Borussia Monchengladbach in an eventful 4-4 draw.

Union Berlin came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Werder Bremen, while Nick Woltemijd scored in the dying minutes to give Stuttgart a 1-0 win over St. Pauli, who finished the match with nine men.

A much-changed Barcelona avoided a blunder in La Liga, coming from behind to beat bottom side Real Valladolid 2-1.

Valladolid already knew they would be playing in the second division next season, but they threatened to cause a real shock
