In a letter on Thursday to Steven Cover, Director of the Federal savings Bank Chicago, Republic of Elijah Cummings, senior member of the house oversight Committee and Rep. Stephen Lynch, the requested documents amounted to $16 million loan to Cover the Bank of Manafort.

“The Federal Savings Bank is aware of recent press reports on unnamed “sources”, implying that Paul Manafort on granting loans in exchange for the promise of the administration office in trump. These messages are simply not true,” – said in a statement on Friday. “The Federal Savings Bank were to fully cooperate with the special adviser throughout its investigation and will continue to do it.”

Cummings and Lynch asked for all communications between to Cover any member of the campaign of President trump, trump the commands of transition and the Pentagon. They also requested records related to all loans discussed, applied, considered, or granted to Manafort Federal Savings Bank.
