Thousands of Muscovites and guests in the city are set to gather in the central districts of Moscow in the final hours of 2018 to celebrate the upcoming New Year. The festivities are expected to be followed by fireworks marking the first moments of 2019.
The celebrations will take place at Tverskaya Street, Sparrow Hills and the Spasskaya Tower on Red Square.
