Putin, Modi and Xi More Popular Than Trump in Global Poll

The website yougov released results of a global survey respondents what public figures they admired the most.

The leaders of Russia, India and China have made it into the top ten most influential public figures, ahead of US President Donald trump, the survey results showed. The study took the pulse of public opinion in 35 countries, to make the results more representative in the world.

The results saw China’s President XI Jinping took fourth place overall, with Russian leader Vladimir Putin for sixth place and the Prime Minister of India Narendra modi in eighth position. American presidents Donald trump failed to make the top ten, managing a seventeenth place between Pope Francis and Andy Lau.

In General, the most popular public figures on the international level was Microsoft founder bill gates and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.

In the UK people, causing the greatest delight was the much-loved naturalist and broadcaster David Attenborough, Queen Elizabeth II first place in the list of the most adored women. The leader of labour’s Jeremy Corbin also received a high rating, finishing in fifth place, ahead of bill gates, Prince Philip and even the Duke of Cambridge Prince William.

Most of the women who were included in the list of distinguished fame in the entertainment industry, while most admired men, as a rule, from the political sphere.
