According to Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, an assistance program has been relaunched for 238 frontline communities, home to 6.6 million people. For example, households that heat their homes independently will receive targeted assistance of UAH 19,400 for firewood and compensation for 100 kWh of electricity per month.
This, in particular, was discussed during the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Ukraine in Uzhhorod.
Speaking about the preparation of the 2026 State Budget, the head of government emphasized that the priority, as before, is defense.

According to Svyrydenko, in early August the Cabinet of Ministers expanded the medical examination program for military personnel who returned from captivity. In parallel, attention is focused on training, retraining, and employment of veterans, as well as on supporting veteran businesses.
“We will soon introduce a platform with all state opportunities and services. Already now, veterans can find up-to-date information and their support specialist through the Veteran Pro service in “Diya,” the Prime Minister added.
