The State Tax Service (STS) is developing a new system for collecting tax debts from taxpayers' accounts.
The transition from paper documents to electronic format and automatic debiting of funds through the banking system is planned. This was announced by the head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh, during a meeting with business associations.

The software is currently being developed and tested. The innovation should increase the efficiency of working with tax debts.
Taxpayers want to abandon traditional paper payment instructions in favor of electronic ones.

The new platform will provide improved information interaction between the State Tax Service, the State Treasury Service, and payment service providers.
This will make it possible to forcibly write off debts from debtors' bank accounts automatically through the electronic payment system of the National Bank of Ukraine.
In addition, the State Tax Service, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, is working to expand tax services in “Diya”. The goal is to make paying taxes as convenient as possible, “in one click”, not only for entrepreneurs, but also for citizens.

According to the head of the State Tax Service, “so that every Ukrainian in “Diya” can check their tax objects (real estate, land, cars), verify data, receive assessments, find out about debt and pay taxes.”
As “FACTS” reported, the National Revenue Strategy of Ukraine for the period until 2030 contains provisions on increasing taxes for small businesses, changing the number of groups of single tax payers, and reducing the list of areas in which they can work.
