Instagram Users in US, European Countries Report Failure of Service

According to the Downdetector website, the app’s users in European countries and the United States are experiencing problems with access to the popular online photo service.

“Instagram is having issues since 7:37 AM EDT,” a statement at Downdetector reads.

The majority of the problems of the social network are being reported by users in the UK, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland, Turkey and Ukraine. The problems are also being reported in the US, Brazil, Australia, Singapore and Japan.

In Russia, users in Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, and St. Petersburg are reporting about the issues in the work of the application.

The Internet users who’ve been stripped of the opportunity to look through their Instagram feed and upload pictures have turned to Twitter to report the problem or just to write humorous posts about the issue.

​In recent weeks, popular messaging services have experienced operational issues. On April 17, users in some countries reported a malfunction in both Viber and Twitter.
