Many of the weapons used in the Ottoman Empire for the implementation of the Genocide was from Germany, according to a new report. Germany and Turkey were allies during the First World war, on the opposite side of Russia, England and France.

When war broke out the Ottoman Empire on the German side, mainly for strategic reasons because Tsarist Russia is expanding Moscow’s influence in the South Caucasus region.
