Moscow (Sputnik) – commenting on the massive Western missile strike on Syria, which was held in response to the alleged chemical attack in the city Duma, Iran slammed the US, UK and France, calling the countries the heads of “criminals”.
The Alaeddin Boroujerdi, Chairman of the foreign policy of the Iranian Parliament and the National security Commission, will arrive on Tuesday in Syria, to discuss the recent Western attacks on the country, a parliamentary source told sputnik on Sunday.
Iran strongly condemned the US-led attack on Syria, with its Supreme leader Ali Khamenei, called the U.S. President Donald trump, the President of France Emmanuel macron and Prime Minister of great Britain Theresa may “criminals” and Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani warning that a strike would lead to the destruction of the middle Eastern countries.
On early Saturday morning, the United States, the United Kingdom and France launched missile strikes on several targets in Syria in response to alleged chemical incident in the city Duma. According to the Ministry of defense of Russia, more than 100 cruise and “air-surface” missiles were launched, most of which was shot down by Syrian air defense.
Russian President Vladimir Putin called the attacks an “act of aggression against a sovereign state”, which was executed, despite the fact that no Russian military experts or local residents confirmed the fact of a chemical attack, which was the reason for the US attacks.
