In August, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 5,000 cars with diesel engines. This is 9% less than in July.
This is reported by Delo.ua with reference to data from Ukravtoprom.
It is noted that of this number of cars, 1.1 thousand units were new (-9%) and 3.9 thousand units were used, imported from abroad (-9%).

Car market in Ukraine
We remind you that during August 2025 Ukrainians purchased about 6.8 thousand new passenger cars. This is 16% less than in the same period last year.
In August 2025, the ten most popular models accounted for 30% of the Ukrainian new car market. The bestseller of the month was the compact crossover Renault Duster.
In total, 46 thousand new passenger cars have been registered in the country since the beginning of the year, which is 3% less than last year.
