The count of diesel vehicles in Ukraine grew by 5.2 thousand during September. This figure represents a decrease of 10% compared to August 2024.

Concerning the total quantity of diesel cars registered:

• 1.1 thousand were brand-new passenger cars (showing a 29% reduction);
• 4.1 thousand were pre-owned vehicles imported from other countries (down by 3%).

Leading 5 new diesel vehicles:

1. Renault Duster — 312 items.
2. Toyota Land Cruiser Prado — 121 items.
3. Volkswagen Touareg — 99 items.
4. Skoda Kodiaq — 74 items.
5. Toyota Land Cruiser — 50 items.

Top 5 secondhand diesel cars brought into Ukraine:

1. Renault Megane — 313 items.
2. Nissan Qashqai — 310 items.
3. Skoda Octavia — 273 items.
4. Volkswagen Passat — 228 items.

In addition, it should be noted that in September, the vehicle pool of the country increased by over 12.6 thousand passenger cars utilizing gasoline engines. This reflects a 27% increase over the prior year.
