Demand for buses in Ukraine increased by 42% / Depositphotos
In August 2025, the Ukrainian bus fleet was replenished with 259 new and used buses. This is 61% more than in August last year.

If last year new buses accounted for 53% of the total number, then in August 2025 this figure reached 61%.
Market leaders
Among the new buses that were first registered in August, the leaders were:
- Ataman – 46 units;
- ZAZ – 31 units;
- Ford – 23 units.
The used bus market also has its favorites. The most popular brands among imported ones were:
- Mercedes-Benz – 33 units;
- Volkswagen – 14 units;
- VDL – 12 units.
Overall indicators for 2025
In general, since the beginning of 2025, the Ukrainian bus fleet has been replenished with 1,655 units of equipment, which is 42% more than last year. At the same time, the number of new buses increased by 24% (801 units), and used ones by 64% (854 units).
Recall that in June 2025, Ukrainian carriers registered 425 new and used buses, which is 28% less than in May and almost 30% less than in the same month of 2024.
