The most demanded new vehicle for passengers in Ukraine is the Volkswagen electric crossover / Depositphotos
During September 2025, the most sought-after new auto for passengers in Ukraine was the Volkswagen ID.Unyx electric crossover — Ukrainians registered 432 of these vehicles.
This information is provided by Delo.ua, citing Ukravtoprom.
The Renault Duster secured the second spot (406 registrations), while the Toyota RAV-4 took third place (292 registrations).
The list of the top ten most in-demand new cars for passengers in September also featured:
- BYD Song Plus — 280 units;
- Hyundai Tucson — 224 units;
- Skoda Kodiaq — 182 units;
- Mazda CX-5 — 165 units;
- BYD Leopard 3 — 150 units;
- Honda eNS1 — 143 units;
- Toyota Land Cruiser Prado — 136 units.
Previously, the Renault Duster was in the leading position in the new vehicle market.
It is worth mentioning that according to the results from August 2025, the overall amount of the electric vehicle segment (including cars, cargo vehicles and buses) reached a record of 11.5 thousand units, which represents a 12.5% increase compared to July of this year and a 22.5% surge compared to the figures from August 2024.
During the initial nine months of 2025, a total of 52.9 thousand new cars for passengers were registered in Ukraine, showing a slight decrease of only 0.3% compared to the equivalent period in 2024.
