During October, Ukrainian citizens procured over 5.8 thousand second-hand automobiles brought in from the United States. This figure represents a 2.2-fold surge compared to the equivalent timeframe in 2024.

It’s worth mentioning that the bulk of these vehicles (49%) were electric.
Petrol-powered vehicles constituted 36%, hybrids accounted for 8%, diesel cars made up 4%, and vehicles running on LPG comprised 3%.
According to insights from Ukravtoprom, the typical age of these “American” vehicles with recorded mileage, which augmented the Ukrainian automobile pool in October, stands at 5.2 years.

It is worth remembering that Ukrainians acquired a record amount of new cars over the last 13 months in October, totaling 7.8 thousand. The Chinese marque BYD proved to be the frontrunner on the Ukrainian market.
In October 2025, the electric crossover Volkswagen ID.Unyx stood out as the most sought-after new passenger vehicle in Ukraine, with Ukrainians purchasing 441 units.
