Vincent Kompany spoke exclusively to sky sports ahead of trip to man city at spurs
Tottenham are the perfect opponents for Manchester city after what was a stormy past 10 days for the club, says captain Vincent Kompany.
City were knocked out in the quarterfinals of the Champions League against Liverpool in midweek, with a 3-2 defeat of the “Manchester United” at Etihad last weekend, sandwiched between them.

Manchester city will win the third Premier League title if they beat both spurs and then Swansea at home on April 22, but the captain wants them to do it in the same style, they showed the entire season, starting at Wembley.

32-year-old is confident the Champions elect now to recover from the recent events in a positive way as they look to close League.
“I think we’re always looking to respond in a way on the field,” said KOMPANI. “This is the best way to do it.
“The past is the past, we won a lot of games, but in many ways it is a mini-season now to the end to achieve the goal, we have put us for next season as well.
“I am sure that even defeat in the Champions League will give us much more motivation to return and remain at the same level for the next season. And that’s the key to me.”
