Liverpool issued a statement of apology to Manchester city after the team bus of the guests were damaged by missiles thrown as he arrived at Anfield on a Champions League match.
Fans of “Liverpool” were pelted with bottles and fireworks at the Manchester city coach, as he arrived at Anfield.
The number of red flashes is also prevented, making visibility difficult as fans lined the streets outside the stadium.

The atmosphere was lively, with many people climbing up lampposts, walls and road signs to look at the team as they arrived.
The city came first, but their bus was targeted by several missiles as it slowed to go in the corner of Arkles lane and Anfield road, where the majority of fans were gathered.
Liverpool arrived to a raucous welcome moments.
A statement from Liverpool read: “the club condemns in the strongest scenes that preceded our finals of the Champions League, leading to damage that caused to Manchester city, the team bus during their arrival at Anfield.
“We unreservedly apologise to PEP Guardiola, his players, staff and officials caught up in the incident.
“The behavior of several individuals was completely unacceptable and the club will fully cooperate with authorities to identify those responsible.
“The priority now is to establish the facts and to offer Manchester city that need support”.
