The prior Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and current Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK Valeriy Zaluzhny declared on his Telegram feed that he has no association with political affairs and intends not to participate in polls during wartime.
“I am not forming any structures or parties, and generally, I am not linked to any political organization. My stance is consistent: while hostilities are ongoing, elections are not feasible within Ukraine or its governmental bodies,” Zaluzhny asserted.
He also voiced his criticism towards Ukrainian media outlets, alleging they disseminated unconfirmed reports alongside Russian disinformation.
Previously, Valery Zaluzhny indicated that stemming from the insufficiency and lateness in the information exchange from space, Ukraine could not completely leverage the potential of systems akin to HIMARS .
