A man has been arrested after crashing his car into the gate of Jennifer Aniston's Los Angeles home, authorities said.
Police told KABC-TV that the “Friends” star was home at the time of the incident.
The incident occurred around 12:20 p.m. local time Monday on the 900 block of Aerol Way in the upscale Bel Air neighborhood, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Jeff Lee said.
Online property records indicate the home is owned by a trust fund run by Aniston's business manager.
The security guards detained the driver and held him until the police arrived.
Mr Lee described the suspect as a middle-aged white man. His identity has not been released and no charges have been filed as of Tuesday morning.
“He used his car to crash into the gate of the residence,” Mr. Li said.
Messages were sent to Aniston's representatives and lawyers on Tuesday.
Aniston, who currently stars on Apple TV's Morning Show, purchased the mid-century-style home on 3.4 acres for about $21 million in 2012, Architectural Digest reports.
