Between August 21 and 23, the Sociological Group “Rating” conducted a survey and asked Ukrainians who they would vote for if presidential and parliamentary elections were held in Ukraine in the near future, and received the following results:
- Volodymyr Zelenskyy — 35.2%;
- Valeriy Zaluzhny — 25.3%;
- Poroshenko Petro — 5.3%;
- Budanov Kirill — 4.5%;
- Yulia Tymoshenko — 3.4%;
- Razumkov Dmytro — 3.2%;
- Biletsky Andriy — 2.2%;
- Prytula Serhiy — 2.0%;
- Boyko Yuriy — 1.6%;
- Vitali Klitschko — 0.6%;
- Another candidate — 4.0%;
- I will not vote — 3.6%;
- It's difficult to answer – 9.2%.
At the same time, according to sociologists, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ambassador of Ukraine to Britain Ukrainians trust Valery Zaluzhny more than Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The survey results show that Zelensky's rating has significantly decreased compared to 2022: if in May 2022 75.4% of citizens were ready to vote for him, then in August 2025 – 35.2% of Ukrainians. Zaluzhny's rating has increased: in November 2022 11% of Ukrainians were ready to vote for him, and in August this year – 25.3% (in March 2024, 39.7% were ready to vote for him in the presidential elections).

When asked how they would vote if parliamentary elections were held in the near future, Ukrainian citizens answered:
- “Zaluzhny” Party — 23.7%;
- Zelenskyy Bloc — 19.7%;
- “European Solidarity”— 7.4%;
- Budanov Party — 6.4%;
- Azov Party — 5.9%;
- Razumkova Party — 3.7%;
- “Batkivshchyna” — 3.6%;
- “Prytula” party— 3.3%;
- “Freedom” — 2.1%;
- “Fight for Peace” platform — 1.6%;
- “Arestovich” Party— 0.9%;
- UDAR “Klychka” —0.8%;
- Other party — 3.3%;
- I will not vote — 5.0%;
- It is difficult to answer – 12.7%.
According to sociologists, the rating of the conditional “Zelensky” Bloc has decreased more than two times compared to 2022: if in May 2022 52.6% of respondents were ready to vote for this bloc, then in August 2025 – 19.7% . The rating of the conditional “Zaluzhny” Party in November 2022 was 22.5%, in July 2023 – 36.8%, in March 2024 – 39.6% , and in August 2025 – 23.7%.

The survey was conducted using computer-assisted telephone interviews. 1,600 respondents aged 18 and over were interviewed in all regions, except temporarily occupied territories and those where there was no mobile communication. The sample is representative in terms of age, gender and type of settlement (error – no more than 2.5% with a confidence interval of 0.95).
Director of the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences Yevgeny Holovakha, in an interview with the editor of the ZN.UA society department, Alla Kotlyar, indicated that very populist slogans will prevail in the post-war elections. and that there will be practically no ideological differences between the candidates.
