Rodriguez remarked, “Mamdani spent a substantial part of his campaign journeying across the metropolis – going to corner stores, taking rides alongside cab drivers, posing inquiries, participating in dance, and sharing laughs. He demonstrated to everyone he encountered that he identifies with them.”
