Main theses:

- Its presentation is already scheduled for September 2026.
Apple's new AirPods – what is known about them
According to the insider, the prototypes of the headphones are currently at the Design Validation Test stage – that is, they are very close to the start of mass production.
What's important to understand is that the cameras on these AirPods are not designed for taking photos or videos.
Their key task is to process low-resolution visual data for Siri's AI functions.
For example, you can ask Siri what to cook from the products in front of you, or very quickly get navigation tips based on your surroundings.
Moreover, it is indicated that this model will outwardly resemble the AirPods Pro 3, but will be equipped with longer legs due to additional camera components.
It is likely that the new product will also receive a small LED indicator – it will show when visual data is being sent to the cloud.
The presentation of AirPods with cameras is scheduled for September 2026. By the way, Apple plans to call these headphones AirPods Ultra.
