Kyivstar, lifecell and Vodafone: what tariffs do mobile operators offer for pensioners in October

Most pensioners are waiting for the March indexation, because this is almost the only opportunity to increase their income.

In such a situation, it is understandable that people on a well-deserved vacation want to save on all “unnecessary” expenses, which often include mobile communications. Knowing this, the three main mobile operators – Kyivstar, lifecell and Vodafone – are trying to offer subscribers different tariff plan options so as not to get “banned” by the majority of subscribers, including pensioners, writes the publication “On Retirement”.

VIDEO OF THE DAY

What are the cheapest tariffs of mobile operators in Ukraine?

Before looking at the cheap tariffs of Kyivstar, lifecell and Vodafone, the publication advises to understand the difference between prepaid and contract, because the cost of the service package depends on the type of contract. If you make a prepaid payment, then first you pay for the tariff, and only then you use it. In the case of a contract, everything is the other way around – first you use the tariff, according to the terms of the contract, and only then, at the end of the month, you pay.

In addition, the contract is usually concluded for a long term – a year or two at least, and using a prepaid tariff, you can relatively easily switch from one package to another or change the operator altogether without any fines or sanctions.

Lifecell

The cheapest Life tariff, as some Ukrainians say, for calls right now is “Maxi”. The mobile operator’s website says that for 300 UAH per month, the user will receive unlimited calls within the network, unlimited internet for using YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp, Viber and other applications, 750 minutes to other operators and 25 GB of internet. If you decide to switch to Lifecell from another operator, the cost will be lower — 190 UAH per month.

The second prepaid tariff is “Mega”. With a prepaid plan, you can use unlimited calls within the network, unlimited internet for using applications, unlimited internet and 1000 minutes for calls to other operators. The standard cost of the package is 500 UAH, with number porting it is 350 UAH.

Kyivstar
The cheapest Kyivstar tariff is “All Together Light”.

Its cost for existing subscribers is 300 UAH, and if you switch to Kyivstar from another operator – 220 UAH. For this price you get unlimited minutes for calls within the network, 300 minutes to other operators, 40 GB of mobile Internet, unlimited use of applications and 200 SMS.

You can also choose 2 “superpowers” – additional bonuses from Kyivstar when connecting the tariff. The second package, which is available on the site for pre-payment, is “All Together Cool”. Users with this tariff are provided with unlimited mobile communication and Internet, 15 GB of mobile Internet in roaming, 600 minutes for calls outside the network and abroad, 600 SMS within Ukraine. In addition, there are “superpowers”, as in the above-described “All Together Easy”. The cost of such a tariff for Kyivstar subscribers is 450 UAH, and for Ukrainians who wish to change their operator – 350 UAH.

In addition, it is worth knowing what the cheapest Kyivstar tariff is for pensioners – the mobile operator offers people over 60 years old and people with disabilities a special tariff – “All Together Comfort”. For 220 UAH per month on a contract, you get 10 GB of mobile Internet, home Internet, unlimited calls to Kyivstar, 100 minutes to other operators and “city” numbers, unlimited use of applications, as well as 100 SMS across Ukraine. The website states that the package additionally includes the Kyivstar TV service and one “superpower” to choose from.

Vodafone

The official website of the mobile operator currently offers two prepaid service packages – the Flexx GO tariff.

For a month, the user will receive 25 GB of internet in the country, roaming, unlimited in applications, 500 minutes in Ukraine and unlimited in the network. This is the cheapest Vodafone 2025 tariff at the moment — it costs 320 UAH per month for existing Vodafone network users. However, if you want to change the operator, then the Flexx GO tariff will cost cheaper — 200 UAH per month.

The second prepaid tariff offered by Vodafone is Flexx TOP. For 500 UAH per month you will receive 50 GB of internet on the network, unlimited calls within the network, 800 minutes within Ukraine and unlimited internet for using applications. This price is relevant for Vodafone subscribers, but when porting a number from another operator, there is an opportunity to pay less – 350 UAH per month.

These same tariff plans are available not only on prepayment, but also on contract:

  • Flexx GO — 270 UAH, when porting a number — 200 UAH;
  • Flexx TOP — 450 UAH per month, when porting a number — 350 UAH.

Also, for subscribers who have signed a contract, ULTRA tariffs are available for 700 UAH, ULTRA VIP for 1500 UAH, and Device 4G for 180 UAH.

Let us remind you that the other day it became known that in 2025 the prices rose the most — and not only for pensioners.
