Lviv became the initial Ukrainian city where penalties for parking rule infractions will promptly show up in the “Diya” mobile application.
As per Delo.ua, this was communicated by the head of the Mobility and Street Infrastructure Department of the Lviv City Council, Oleh Zabarylo.
According to his statement, now vehicle operators in Lviv have the ability to immediately see if a parking ticket has been issued by enforcement officers and settle it digitally – with just a couple of clicks, eschewing physical notifications or mailed correspondence.
“Even unpleasantries can now be encountered with ease. Information gets there more quickly, payment is more user-friendly, and the municipality saves money on management and dispatching communications,” Zabarylo pointed out.
It is worth mentioning that inhabitants of Kyiv can currently ascertain the accessibility of vacant parking places as it happens via the “Kyiv Digital” app. The “Hourly Parking” portion displays the congestion level of parking zones via color-coding, allowing automobilists to rapidly identify a vacant spot.
