Russian propaganda is trying in every way to discredit Ukraine's agreements with Western partners on security guarantees , the Center for Countering Disinformation reports .

The CPD notes that pro-Russian resources are spreading messages that “Ukrainians are afraid of occupation by the troops of the ‘coalition of the willing.’” According to their statements, both civilian and military Ukrainians seem to believe that the deployment of deterrent forces would mean a “real occupation” of the country.

Propagandists refer to the fictional “anti-fascist underground of the Kherson region” or do not cite sources at all, claiming that such sentiments are allegedly widespread in the Dnipropetrovsk region and among the military. There is no evidence of this.

Thus, Russia is trying to sow distrust in allies, disrupt international security agreements, and hinder diplomatic efforts to end the war, the Center noted.

Earlier, the head of the Central Intelligence Agency Andriy Kovalenko stated that after the assassination of US President's aide Charlie Kirk and the violation of Polish airspace by Russian drones, the Kremlin significantly intensified information operations in the United States and Poland.
