In 2026, some pensioners are promised an increase in their pension payments by a maximum of 2,340 hryvnias per month, but there are those in Ukraine who receive at least 1 million hryvnias per year. All of them are state officials who continue to work.

This is reported by the website Oboz.ua, which emphasizes that these are recipients of special pensions – prosecutors who continue to work. While studying the declarations, journalists managed to find three employees of the prosecutor's office who have such amounts as pension payments.
It is about:
- Igor Sydorenko, Deputy Head of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, who is retired, but continues to work since 2023, when he turned 45. For 2024, he declared a payment from the PFU in the amount of UAH 1.2 million (UAH 101.5 thousand per month) with an annual salary of UAH 1.6 million;
- Valeriy Lyaluk, head of the Zmiiv department of the Chuhuiv district prosecutor's office in Kharkiv region, who received UAH 1.1 million in pension last year (UAH 94.2 thousand per month). He has been receiving payments from the PFU since June 2010 (at that time the prosecutor was only 42 years old). At the same time, his pension is 90% of the amount of his monthly salary;
- Volodymyr Lymar, First Deputy Head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, who declared an average monthly pension of UAH 93.7 thousand last year. The payment was assigned to him in 2017, when the prosecutor was only 40 years old. He added 2 years and almost 3 months of study at the Yaroslav the Wise National Law Academy to his experience through the court.
Earlier, as “FACTS” wrote, People's Deputy Hetmantsev reported that the average monthly pension payment for judges is UAH 107,000, for prosecutors – UAH 23.6 thousand, for people's deputies – UAH 19.5 thousand, and the largest judicial pension in Ukraine is UAH 400,000.
