Ukrainian legislation provides for a number of payments for children, including funds paid to families raising adopted children.
According to People's Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko, starting next year, payments will be increased for foster parents and adoptive parents of orphans. They will be increased over the next few years.

The average monthly amount of payments for one adoptive parent will be:
- 2026 — 16,240.64 UAH;
- 2027 — UAH 16,992.16;
- 2028 — 17,894.96 UAH.
The average monthly amount of payments for one parent-educator of one family-type orphanage will be:

- 2026 — 52,782.08 UAH;
- 2027 — 55,224.52 UAH;
- 2028 — 58,158.62 UAH.
We remind you that recently, low-income families can apply for a new state aid – basic social – online – through “Diya”. So, currently, citizens who receive one or more types of aid have this right: payments to low-income families; child benefits to single mothers; temporary assistance to children whose parents evade paying alimony or whose whereabouts are unknown.
