
Payments of 6,500 hryvnias under the government's winter support program are one-time targeted assistance to those who need it most, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced at a meeting with journalists.

“This is a separate program for vulnerable categories: orphans, children under care, children with disabilities in foster families, IDP children, IDPs with disabilities, single pensioners,” she said.
You can receive assistance on the “Diya.Kartku” card or on a current account with a special usage mode.
You can spend the money on medicine, clothes, and shoes.

The state is allocating UAH 4.3 billion to this program. According to Svyridenko, the government expects that 660,000 people will benefit from this program.
The state will also provide each Ukrainian with a one-time assistance of UAH 1,000.
The funds can be spent on basic needs: utilities, medicines, books, or donated to the Defense Forces. The government is currently working on a full list of possible expenditures.

Details of this year's program are planned to be announced by November 15, the Prime Minister assured.
As reported by “FACTY”, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on supporting motherhood and fatherhood, according to which, starting in 2026, a one-time allowance of UAH 50,000 is provided for the birth of the first and each subsequent child.
