Over the past five years, almost 800,000 cases related to pension underpayment have been opened in Ukrainian courts.

Pensioners won most of these cases. Based on the results of the hearing, the courts ordered the plaintiffs to pay a total of almost 85 billion hryvnias, reports “On Pension”.
Despite court decisions, the debts of pensioners were not paid, as the state did not have the funds to repay the amounts owed.
On July 14 of this year, the government adopted Resolution No. 821, which provides for the phased return of unpaid funds to pensioners in the amount of about 85 billion hryvnias.
