Former Assistant Says Sean 'Diddy' Combs Was 'Extremely Creative' With Drugs

A former college basketball player claims Sean “Diddy” Combs became “extremely creative” while on drugs.

A former assistant who worked as a personal assistant testified Friday in the music mogul's sex trafficking trial.

Brendan Paul, 26, was arrested last year at a Miami airport with cocaine he said belonged to Combs. He testified under immunity about his experiences working with the hip-hop entrepreneur for a year and a half.

Paul was arrested in March 2024, the same day federal agents conducted several raids as part of their investigation into Combs.

Prosecutors are wrapping up their case after six weeks of questioning scores of witnesses, including former girlfriends and employees, men in the sex industry and rapper Kid Cudi.

Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, even made a surprise appearance in the courtroom.

The prosecution is trying to convince jurors that Combs ran a vast racketeering organization for two decades that relied on employees willing to do anything for him, including buying drugs when needed.

Defense attorneys argue that Combs did not commit federal crimes, though they acknowledge that prosecutors presented domestic violence allegations during the trial.
