Over 900 buses imported to Ukraine in eight months of 2025 / Depositphotos
In the period from January to August of 2025, Ukraine received 907 buses (including small buses), indicating a 30% increase compared to the same timeframe the previous year.

The cumulative value based on customs declarations amounted to $46.4 million, which is 33% greater than the prior year’s figure.
Among the overall quantity of imported vehicles:
- There were 263 new units,
- There were 644 previously used units.
Ukraine spent $16.1 million on imports of new buses, while the purchase of used buses totaled $30.3 million.
Among the countries providing new buses, Turkey emerged as the frontrunner, dispatching 218 vehicles to Ukraine with a collective value of $12.9 million.
Conversely, the majority of used buses originated from Germany — 198 units with a consolidated customs value of $8.3 million.
It is worth mentioning that in September 2025, Ukrainian transport companies acquired 507 new and second-hand buses – showing a decrease of 16.1% from August and a decrease of 26.8% compared to September 2024.
