Hybrids overtook diesel cars / Depositphotos
In August 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with more than 22.7 thousand used cars from abroad. This is 1% more than in July.

The largest share of imported cars was gasoline cars – 48%. Next are:
- electric cars – 26%,
- diesel cars – 17%,
- hybrids – 6%,
- cars with HBO – 3%.
The average age of imported cars that received Ukrainian license plates in August was 8.4 years.
TOP-10 most popular used cars in August:
- Volkswagen Golf – 1002 units;
- Tesla Model Y – 827 units;
- Volkswagen Tiguan – 703 units;
- Renault Megane – 687 units;
- Tesla Model 3 – 651 units;
- Skoda Octavia – 650 units;
- Audi Q5 – 640 units;
- Nissan Rogue – 633 units;
- Nissan Leaf – 562 units;
- Volkswagen Passat – 456 units.
Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have already purchased 158.5 thousand used cars from abroad, which is 0.3% less than in the same period in 2024.
As a reminder, in July 2025, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 22.4 thousand used passenger cars imported from abroad. This is 12% more than in July 2024.
