During October of 2025, the domestic market witnessed the registration of 77.8 thousand deals involving the acquisition and sale of previously owned vehicles. This figure represents a 1.9% surge compared to September of 2025. However, when juxtaposed with October of 2024, there’s an 8.7% downturn in activity.
As reported by Delo.ua, this data originates from an analysis conducted by the Auto Market Research Institute.
Volkswagen continues to dominate in the amount of national re-sales for October (exceeding 9.5 thousand transactions), which is attributable to its dependability, ease of resale, and repair accessibility.
Securing the second spot is VAZ/Lada (almost 4.6 thousand transfers), indicative of substantial interest within the extremely budget-friendly category.
Following behind are Renault, Skoda, BMW, and Toyota, which constitute the market’s middle segment, while the bottom half of the leading ten consists of Audi, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, and Nissan.

In terms of models, the Volkswagen Passat also continues to be in first position— this car was re-chosen by 2,735 Ukrainians last month. Following it is the Daewoo Lanos, with its 2,549 transactions, which demonstrates that cost-effective vehicles continue to circulate successfully among owners.
The Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Golf, two other figures in the confident mid-tier, witnessed transactions in the thousands: with 2,375 and 2,196 re-sales respectively. Rounding out the top 10 — the Renault Megane, Ford Focus, the two BMW series, the Opel Astra and the Audi A6 — all seeing between 900 and 1,300 transactions.

It should be remembered that the Ukrainian market saw a high in new passenger car purchases in September 2025, achieving a twelve-month high. During that month, the count of newly acquired cars exceeded 6.8 thousand.
