A batch of hundreds of robots has already been delivered to customers /UBTech

Chinese enterprise UBTech Robotics has initiated the globe’s inaugural large-scale distribution of Walker S2 humanoid robots to industrial establishments. A consignment of several hundred robots has already reached clients, encompassing prominent vehicle manufacturers and tech organizations, who are employing them to streamline manufacturing and logistical procedures around-the-clock.

Procurements for humanoids have surpassed 800 million yuan (roughly 113 million USD), with significant purchasers including BYD, Geely Auto, FAW Volkswagen, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor, and Foxconn. The robots are being vigorously implemented in plants and storage facilities, executing duties that typically necessitate consistent human attendance.

An attribute of the Walker S2 is its battery interchange system: the robot can autonomously extract and install a battery in mere minutes, enabling uninterrupted function throughout extended work periods. The humanoid boasts sizable and robust dimensions, with articulations mirroring human movement, allowing for the displacement of hefty items and accurate command of the digits.

UBTech's offerings are procurable to industrial patrons commencing July 2025. Robots comprise 30% of the firm’s commerce, considerably augmented from the prior year’s 10%, underscoring tangible marketplace necessity.

The corporation’s economic results are likewise progressing: earnings in the initial semester of 2025 attained 621 million yuan (a surge of 27.5%), gross earnings totaled 217 million yuan (+17.3%), and deficits diminished by 18.5% to 440 million yuan. UBTech equities on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange have appreciated by exceeding 150% and are presently valued at 133 HK dollars, with analysts at Citi and JPMorgan forecasting supplementary escalation to 170 HK dollars.

UBTech frames Walker S2 as the premier humanoid for extensive industrial application, enabling the enterprise to fortify its primacy in the robotic domain and satiate the elevated requirement for mechanization of fabrication workflows.

Humanoid robots are not yet in service in Ukraine, but autonomous robots are stationed at the forefront and undertake humanitarian mine clearance of territories.
