“We will expose Musk's actions and financial embezzlement,” the Anonymous group reported in its latest video. A few days later, the social platform, which the billionaire painfully became its owner, has serious downtime. Some users, including those from Poland, the US and Japan, are unable to open, both as an application and via the website. Anonymous's statement did not lack a Polish accent.
– Today we protest against corruption, manipulation and the illusion of freedom sold to us by billionaires and politicians who only serve their own interests. Opportunist Donald Trump continues his pursuit of power, using lies, supported by greedy corporations. He shakes the foundations of society, only adding fuel to the fire of extremists and silencing those who disagree with him. His actions only serve the financial elites – this is how Anonymous begins their message with X.
Then they move on to Elon Musk, with whom they have had a bone to pick with more than once. They describe him as a “self-proclaimed visionary who milks the system by exploiting people who work for his personal gain.” The cuts introduced by DOGE only serve his interests, while the rest suffer.
“Musk claims to have donated billions of dollars to charity, but has never shared any details. We will follow this trail, which will likely expose all of his financial machinations,” and they note at the end, “we are Anonymous, we are Legion, we do not forgive, we do not forget. We are coming.”
Elon Musk, in his typical style, ridiculed hacker threats.
The Anonymous group also commented on the exchange of words that took place between Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski and Elon Musk and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The owner of the SpaceX company stated that “the Ukrainian defense line would collapse if not for the Starlinks”. He also wrote that he is tired of the years of slaughter and that this meat grinder really needs to be stopped (an interesting term, after the gift that Putin gave to the mothers of Russian soldiers who died on the front).
Such a post did not go unanswered by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Radosław Sikorski recalled that ” Starlinks for Ukraine are paid for by the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs at a cost of approximately 50 million dollars per year. Leaving aside the ethics of threatening the victim of aggression, if SpaceX turns out to be an unreliable supplier, we will be forced to look for other suppliers.”

The ethics of threatening the victim of aggression apart, if SpaceX proves to be an unreliable provider we will be forced to look for other suppliers. https://t.co/WaJWCklgPE— Radoslaw Sikorski 🇵🇱🇪🇺 (@sikorskiradek) March 9, 2025
“Be quiet, little man. You're paying a tiny fraction of the cost. And there's no substitute for Starlink,” Musk wrote.
Be quiet, little man.
You pay a tiny fraction of the cost.
And there is no substitute for Starlink.

Rubio added his two cents, stating that for now no one is threatening to cut off Ukraine from Muscovy's internet.
Donald Tusk also responded with a post on X that “true leadership is based on respect for allies, including the small and weak ones. Never arrogance. Think about it, dear friends.”
True leadership means respect for partners and allies. Even for the smaller and weaker ones. Never arrogance. Dear friends, think about it.

This exchange of words, however, was met with a rather ambiguous comment from the hacker group:
“Really, Poland, you will let the United States of Trump and Musk call you small and weak and then tell you to shut up.”
Wow Poland, are you really going to let Trump's US and Musk call you weak and small then command you to shut up? 🤔
